Continued non-wellness

Shelby spent the day with me at work again. She woke up with a fever for the third straight day. We got a late morning doctor appointment, but nothing conclusive out of it yet. Her tonsils are large and covered with puss says the doctor. They did a strep test, which is thus far negative, but I think we're waiting on something more tomorrow. She gave us some sample antibiotics to get Shelby started back to recovery and the doctor will call us on Friday to see how Shelby's doing. If she's still feverish, they will have us go back in for a mono test. The doctor says that strep and mono cases have been abnormally high for this time of year.

Side Note:
On the way to the doctor's office, I saw this. Nearly got stuck in the traffic behind it.
