Today, Darby finally came to regret her decision to give up chocolate for lent (instead of boys, which was my suggestion). We had previously RSVPed to a birthday party that I didn't realize was at a "chocolate shoppe", where the kids got to learn about the origins of chocolate, eat from a chocolate fountain, and make chocolate truffles (a very messy affair).
Needless to say the temptation and peer pressure was great. But Darby was a good girl and didn't eat any chocolate, though she made LOTS of faces at me in the process.
