Darby's softball team had a garage sale fundraiser. We had to report there at seven in the morning. On a Saturday. AND... it took us thirty minutes to get there. So do the math on what time we had to wake up. Bleh.
Subsequently it was VERY long day. And I am SO bloody tired. The team did get more than two hundred dollars into its fund, but if you divide that out by all the players and parents working the thing, well, we were slave labor. There's just no other way to put it. Though really, it was the parents doing most of the work as the kids mostly wanted to play and have fun. To which I say, no fair. :)
